Tea parties are always a delight and this certainly was the case when Temple Muse hosted renowned interior designer Eva Sonaike at their flagship store. Interior lovers and homeware enthusiasts were invited to view the brand’s latest ‘Eko Eclipse’ collection at the opening of the Pop-up shop and got to spend time with Eva herself. Sticking with the Tea Party theme, guests were kept toasty on a rainy May afternoon with a selection of fine teas, cucumber sandwiches and jam scones whilst the explored the fine furnishings on offer.

‘Eko Eclipse’ features a rich colour palette of subtle blues, warm terracotta, grey and bright yellows, signifying  both the heavens and the earth. The collection is tied together with an ongoing ‘adire’ pattern, which honours the traditional Yoruba batik technique. The African inspired textiles are expertly printed in Germany and used across a range of accessories, including cushions, shopper totes, pouffes, make-up ads and birchwood trays all of which are hand-made in Britain or Sweden, making each piece a truly global creation.

The Eva Sonaike “Eko Eclipse” Pop-Up Shop is open until Saturday 13th June 2015.
