How to make the mask:

  • Step 1:

You need one and a half teaspoons of bentonite clay, half a teaspoon of charcoal, half a teaspoon of honey and a few drops of tea tree oil.

  • Step 2:

Mix the powders first in a small bowl, but please note that they should under no circumstances come into contact with any metal objects.

  • Step 3:

Add a bit of water and then add the honey and lastly the tea tree oil and mix it all together.

Once you’ve gotten it to a good consistency, i.e. not runny, but thick enough for you to scoop it with ease – to test the consistency, check whether it can stick to a spoon without falling – apply it to your face either with your hands (although you should ensure they are squeaky clean) or with a face mask brush. Apply evenly and generously to the face always remembering to include your neck and allow it dry for about 20 minutes.

Rinse off, apply your toner, serum, and face cream/oil as you would normally and call it a night. You may not notice any drastic results immediately but doing this at least twice a week for a month should improve the health and look of your skin.
